Story

.

180 kilometer bike ride around Lake Geneva

Thank you for visiting my fundraising page.

In a moment of weakness I decided to sign up to ride 180 kilometers around Lake Geneva.

I hear you saying I should know better at my age!

In order that my foolhardy decision is of some benefit I have decided to raise money for Leukaemia & Lymphoma Research.

Around 28,500 people of all ages, from newborn babies to grandparents are diagnosed in the UK with blood cancers, including leukaemia, lymphoma and myeloma, every year.  My mother died of leukaemia in December 2008.

The charity relies purely on private funding and needs to raise £120million over the next five years to continue their life-saving research into better diagnosis, treatments and cures for all those with blood cancers.

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure and they never sell on your details or send unwanted emails. Once you dontae they will sedn your money directly to the charity and make sure Gif Aid is reclaimed on every eligible donation ny a UK tax payer.

Thank you in anticipation

David
