Story

The care received at St Cuthbert's was exemplary, with incredible staff becoming good friends and always managing to raise a laugh no matter how dire the situation.  Family and friends were allowed to visit despite the tail end of covid restrictions and this support also helped her as she lived out her final weeks.

Liz tragically passed away on 24th September 2021.  Her wonderful presence, energy and kindness will live on in all those that knew her and loved her.

St Cuthbert’s Hospice is an oasis of excellence in care and treatment and absolutely must be supported to ensure it can continue to provide outstanding care to the people in the most desperate moments of their lives.  Please help me in this endeavour by sponsoring my 5k run around the beautiful city of Durham that Liz called home.
