Story
Throughout the hot summer of 2018 David's health took its toll. His final weeks were spent overlooking the autumnal leaves of the Marie Curie Hospice in Edinburgh. The centre itself is clean, peaceful and run by NHS staff who would go out of the way to make his (and the family's) stay as homely as possible.
They enabled the family to spend his last week by his side at all times. Without their hospitality, we wouldn't have been able to be at his side as he passed on. Most importantly, they gave him warmth, love and dignity.
Instead of flowers at the funeral, we would like to give something back to the hospice. Running the Hospice for a day costs an unbelievable £6,000, so donations like this are dearly needed, Please donate whatever you can stretch to, to help make someone's stay as special as David's.
