Story
Unfortunately my brother died earlier this year from pancreatic cancer and had been a Type 1 diabetic since his early 20s. He dealt with this condition with great strength and determination and without complaint.
Therefore the family thought it would be a fitting tribute to run the Manchester 10k in his memory and to try and raise as much money as possible to help other diabetics in the future. As well as myself there is my daughter Kate, son Peter, daughter in law Julia and son in law Jonathan all running.
Our original target was £500 which we then raised to £1,000 and it is fantastic due to the generosity of so many that we are now above that and still collecting!
Thank you so much from all of us, my brother would be so proud and knowing that other diabetics will be benefiting in the future
