Story
Hello and thank you for visiting my fundraising page for REACT.
For a third year, I'm running the Hackney Half Marathon on Sunday 20th May to raise money for REACT, a charity started by 2 close friends of mine, supporting people just like you and me who are seeking refuge from violence or repression
What REACT is doing in 2018?
REACT is funding the cost of 2 youth workers to provide education and safe spaces for traumatised refugee girls in Amman, Jordan
REACT is funding legal support to refugees and others who have risked their lives crossing the Mediterranean to Lesbos and Sicily
REACT is making small grants to UK refugees to access education or legal representation

REACT responds dynamically to current needs on the ground
REACT works with local partners to maximise impact
REACT offers short term emergency assistance to refugees
REACT supports long term initiatives to build up refugee resource and resilience
