Dear friends,

I am setting off to ride my bike from home to Paris on Wednesday 14th September 2011. I am cycling with a friend and three other chaps who I have yet to meet.

The point of the trip is threefold, get some French air, get some exercise and to raise funds for Cancer Relief on behalf of another chap whom I have yet to meet who has cancer.

I can't write to explain why this gentleman warrants a donation in his name, but I do know he's like us, too young to suffer and probably never expected that cancer would affect him or his loved ones.
