Campaign by Sue Ryder (RCN 1052076)
Walk 5K or 10K in memory of a loved one, on any day in October. Raise funds to help us be there when it matters for people facing the most difficult times of their lives.

Story

As some of you know, my beautiful wife and Franco's amazing mummy, Lucia, sadly lost her brave battle with this horrible disease in August 2019.

To mark our 6th Wedding Anniversary, on 9th October 2020, I will be walking 10k around one of our favourite places, Bolton Abbey.

All money raised will go to Wheatfields Hospice, who are the most amazing organisation. They helped Lucia more than anywhere else and continue to provide support for Franco and I.

I know times are very uncertain, but seriously, these guys go above and beyond anything you can imagine. Please spare anything you can. Donations are what keeps hospices going and help so much.

Sue Ryder supports people through the most difficult times of their lives. Whether thats a terminal illness, the loss of a loved one or a neurological condition were there when it matters. Our doctors, nurses ancarers give people the compassion and expert care they need to help them live the best life they possibly can.

Sue Ryder is here to make sure everyone approaching the end of their life or living with grief can get the support they need. There is no one size fits all when it comes to how we cope and the help we need, but with our support, no one has to face dying or grief alone. We are there when it matters.
