Celebrate St Barnabas' 40th year of providing hospice care across Lincolnshire by fundraising in support of the Hospice

Story

I am happy to say I will be supporting St Barnabas Hospice as they celebrate 40 years of care. I, too, am celebrating 40 years; of happy marriage. So it seems very apt that as I enter a 12 hour endurance running event I should set a target of 40k (possibly 40 miles??) and a financial target of £400. Please sponsor me if you can so that the care they offer can continue, grow and be there when we need it.  For example £15 will fund one hour of care in a patient's own home, or £30 will provide a bereavement support session for a family. The run will take place at Worksop College on Saturday 27th August 2022.

I have seen what invaluable support St Barnabas offer individuals and families needing end of life care. As a charity, they support more than 10,500 people each year affected by a life-limiting or terminal illness. They deliver free, high quality, compassionate end-of-life care and support to patients, their families and carers; enabling them to live as fully as they are able for whatever time they have left. Please help me raise a bucket-load of money as an act of thankfulness that people like this exist.  Thank you. Dave.
