I have been chosen to be one of the two runners in the 2013 London marathon to raise funds for Jersey Hospice. It’s a great cause and a great personal challenge. Fortunately I have not had close family helped by Jersey Hospice, but friends have been so grateful for their caring and loving support. Jersey Hospice is entirely funded by donations and receives no help towards running costs from the States of Jersey or Macmillan, Marie Curie or any other cancer charities. I am delighted to have the opportunity to help support them.
