Action Medical Research is the leading UK-wide charity saving and changing children’s lives through medical research. Almost everyone has been touched in some way by our ground-breaking work, like the first polio vaccines in the UK, ultrasound in pregnancy and the rubella vaccine.

I've never ridden over 10 miles before so this is massively outside my comfort zone and a huge challenge to boot. I wont be challenging for any medals but I'll be thinking about why I'm in the saddle each day and reminding myself why it's worth the pain!

308 miles over 4 days from London to Roubaix....!
