My Dad prior to Covid had to undergo Chemotherapy, Lung removal and Radiotherapy.  He was given the all clear and rang the bell at the start of Covid which was so wonderful.  Sadly he started to received symptoms again and a further scan has shown that he has incurable lung Cancer and was given 12-18 months to live 6 months ago.

I decided to organise with some close friends a Community Fun Day in Harrow Lodge Park, Hornchurch on 24th September between 12 and 6 with some singers, children dance group, inflatables, Burger Van, Ice Cream Van, Mascots and a bar to bring together local people who I know many of whom will have also suffered or are suffering by the tragic affects of Cancer.  We will try to bring smiles to peoples lips including my families whilst raising funds for a very worthwhile charity that has and continues to give hope to so many people across the UK.

If anyone has anything big or small that they could donate I would be so grateful as would my family.  I have done this in my Dads honour and it would be lovely to be able to give the Charity a nice donation in order to save lives in the future.
