About me

I've been directly involved in fire control since I joined Hertfordshire fire and rescue service, fire control in 2007, after spending three years with Essex County fire and rescue service as a retained firefighter in Halstead.

In January 2020 I became Bedfordshire fire and rescue service's, Fire Control Manager and in November 2021 was proud to join National Fire Chief Council's Fire control project team.

I am an ardent fire control champion and part of the reason to tackle this challenge, other than to raise much needed funds for our amazing charity, is to raise the profile of fire controls, fire control personnel and the AMAZING part they play in the frontline response of our fire and rescue services.
