We improve the lives of those with DMD to ensure those lives are no longer limited

Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

I have listened and spoken to parents with children affected by Duchenne and their stories are deeply moving. Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy is a degenerative muscle wasting condition affecting around 2,500 children and adults in the UK. It is the most common and severe form of muscular dystrophy. Life expectancy is significantly reduced. There is currently no cure for Duchenne.  Action Duchenne is a patient and parent led organisation that seeks to improve the lives of all those affected by Duchenne. Funds are vital for research, finding treatments, ensuring access to specialised care and eventually finding a cure for Duchenne. Please help me to reach my target of £1,000 and help Action Duchenne and all those affected by Duchenne. Your donation will go a long way to improving the lives of so many and hopefully one day a cure will be found. Many thanks for your support, Dave.

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving - they'll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they'll send your money directly to the charity. So it's the most efficient way to donate - saving time and cutting costs for the charity.
