Dave Bentley and I have decided to dust off our old bicycles (we, like the bikes, are getting on a bit), in order to take part in the London Duathlon. This comprises of a 10km run, followed by a 20km cycle, followed by a 5 km run!!! This is being undertaken on behalf of the charity Cardiac Risk in the Young, in memory of my beloved daughter Amanda, who died suddenly at the young age of 26, on the 12th Oct 2008.

Cardiac Risk in the Young work extremely hard to promote awareness of the number of premature cardiac deaths suffered by our young people in the UK, and to find ways of preventing these deaths occuring. Please help us help them, Many thanks.
