Fundraising for Blood Cancer UK
On 6th June 2013, although his spirit was still strong, David’s body decided that it couldn’t cope with the pain and suffering anymore and gave up the fight against Acute Lymphoblastic Leukaemia. After a courageous three years and two days Dave died peacefully in his sleep, and we are sure that he is now enjoying a Leeds Rhinos Veterans game at the Headingley in the sky.
He truly has been our superhero and we will be taking Dave with us throughout the rest of our lives.
We ask that people donate to Leukaemia & Lymphoma Research in his name through JustGiving.
Leukaemia & Lymphoma Research is a charity that was very close to Dave's heart, and he was a huge supporter of its research and determination to beat blood cancers.
Thank you all for your support, with love from Dave's family.
