Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

On 24th July 2012 I will be riding a 1963 'Rudge - Pathfinder' bicycle over 80 miles from Meols, Wirral to Church Stretton in Shropshire to raise funds for the Stroke association.

The bicycle I will be riding belonged to my wife's, Grandad's Wife, Myra. She died in 2006 following a stroke.

After restoring the bike I am riding it back to Church Stretton where Myra and Bernard (my wife's Grandad) lived.

The bike, now named 'Myra II', only has 3 gears and is all steel so is no lightweight. Please give your support by sponsoring me to do this ride.

Thanks

Dave Voller.

Update 24/07/2007. I made it! after just under 90 miles (i took 2 wrong turns!) and 8 and a half hours I made it to Church stretton on what was a glorious sunny day.
