I haven't done the Great North Run for a while - and I certainly haven't pushed a wheelchair round it before. However, when my Mam asked if I would help her friend, Lynne, that's just the sort of challenge you don't turn down, especially when your brother has already said Yes.

Lynne has had MS for many years now and is the epitomy of 'just keep smiling and rolling down the road' - just because she needs a push to get her down the road these days is no reason not to do the Great North Run. It'll be hard work, sure - but we'll have a smile and a laugh and we'll get there. I've no idea how long it'll take us, but that's not really the point. Please help us put some smiles on some more faces by supporting the work of the MS Society, helping those who live with the condition and those who want to make it a thing of the past.
