Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

Over the past few years, three members of my family have had to use breast cancer facilities.  Two have required surgery and a third is currently under review. The staff have been brilliant and the support we have received over that time has been fantastic. As a thank you for their dedication, I have decided to give something back by taking on a cycle challenge to raise vital funds for Breast Cancer Care, which assists women and men with breast cancer, their families and friends.

“Euro Cycle Cities 2011” - This unique charity bike ride takes in three of Europe’s most vibrant cities – London, Amsterdam and Brussels – The route covers nearly 300 miles in four days.  We will be setting off from St Pancras Station in London cycling to Harwich and getting the ferry to The Hook of Holland, then travelling through the historic cities of Amsterdam, Breda and Brussels and finishing at the Atomium.

Breast Cancer Care brings people together, providing information and support, and campaign for improved standards of care.  Anyone with breast cancer or breast health concerns can get free, confidential support and information from the Breast Cancer Care helpline on 0808 800 6000 or by visiting www.breastcancercare.org.uk.   Every contribution makes a difference and funds raised will go towards ensuring that Breast Cancer Care can continue to offer vital support to women and men.
