Story
In my day job I am pastor of a church in London, but my dream growing up was always to fly. My career as a pilot was hindered by my maths teacher then buried by my optician, but I'm the world's biggest plane geek and there's nothing I'd rather do than watch or fly planes. So I'm excited to be taking a ride in the skydiving club aircraft, but on this occasion I'll be abandoning the flight and jumping out of a perfectly functioning aircraft as it reaches cruising altitude. Because if there's one thing I care about even more than planes, it's Watoto's mission to bring hope, opportunity and a bright future to some of Africa's most vulnerable women and children. Please sponsor me to enable Watoto Neighbourhood to continue changing lives!
If that's not enough of a plea, there's more! I'm proud to be part of the Watoto team here in the UK, and I'll be going head-to-head in a fundraising competition with our UK director, Jonathan Hutchison. The Watoto staff team have decreed that whoever loses this sponsorship battle will have their legs waxed. My legs may be hairy but they're not pretty. Jonathan's legs are not to be missed. If you want to see them in all their glory, sponsor me!

AFRICAS GREATEST RESOURCE IS HER WOMEN, EMPOWERED
The harsh reality is that many women in Africa have been left to bear the brunt of war, poverty and disease. Millions of our sisters have been abandoned and robbed of all dignity. Uneducated and unemployable, they are left to suffer alone. But together, we are changing this by providing adult literacy classes, discipleship, business skills training and job opportunities. As we embrace these women with Gods love, they find hope and purpose.
