Story
Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
I decided to take part in the London to Brighton Bike Ride 2012 when my boss, Raj Atwal, suggested we give it a go. When I realised that this event raises money for the British Heart Foundation, there was never a second thought in my mind about taking part.
This charity means a lot to me. As some of you reading this may know, my first wife Julia, mother of my two children Adam and Sean, died from heart related problems in 2004 aged just 40. Also, my father suffered a heart attack in 1984, but thanks to the advances in treatment and care, he will be supporting me this June as I participate in this year's event.
I know times are hard just now, but any support you can provide in the form of sponsorship, no matter how small, will be greatly appreciated and will go towards helping more people live decent lives after suffering heart related illness, or maybe even preventing the illness in the first place.
