Many of you will know that I'm not a runner and I don't do 'keep-fit'!  That's for other people!

The only running I do is to Greggs or McDonald's to feed my appetite!

Well a good friend of mine asked if I'd take his place in this event and somehow the words 'yes, ok' eventually came out of my mouth..after a considerable delay.... of many weeks...hoping someone else would take the challenge?

So this has been a huge task for a non runner like me and I hope I complete this 10K in a respectful time?  Simon (my youngest son), will be running with me in this event and has already been impressed with my progress so far!

Thank you to everyone who has supported me in my training. It has been an amazing experience and I've enjoyed the friendship, guidance and fantastic support.  I love you all....You know who you are, and yes I'm still in a state of shock?

I will be thinking of my nephew Alex and GOSH for everything they do, especially while enduring the pain of this little challenge.

Thank you very much for your donation.
