Firstly, thanks for clicking through or visiting this JustGiving page. The fact that you are enjoying the stream enough to give towards this most noble of causes means a lot to me. If you found this page through other means, there will be a link to the Stream so you can watch the events unfold.
This year, as the basis for the 24 hour gaming marathon for Macmillan Game Heroes 2017, I have decided that since Sonic Mania is nearing launch, I will be playing the Sonic games found on Steam. Should I somehow expertly clear those games in a timely fashion, I may throw in a couple of others, but it's primarily to focus on the 2D games available on Steam.
As an incentive to give, any donation over £5.00 GBP will be eligible to nominate a Sonic Mod for any of the 2D Sonic Games (excluding Sonic CD sadly...) that can be easily downloaded and subscribed through Steam Workshop. Depending on the nature of the Mod, I may or may not play through the games using those Mods. My only rule is that Mods cannot have characters from other properties (such as Mario).
Last year was a tough year for a lot of people in my life who have been affected by cancer. I lost my Auntie Sheila - a remarkable woman who always had a smile on her face whenever I saw her. It's mainly for her two children, Karen and Greg, as well as the rest of the family and all my friends who have lost family and friends to cancer that I am doing this. I'm sure the rest of us at TheSixthAxis also have people who we care for who have been affected by Cancer, so I also do this on their behalf.
On behalf of all of us at TheSixthAxis, we appreciate the time spent watching and any donations you are able to give. For those in the UK, please note you are able to Gift-Aid your donation - which is free and allows the charity to get more funding from the government. For those outside the UK, please do not click that box. Below is some information about JustGiving in case you have concerns donating through them to MacMillan:
