This is my 5th Charity challenge but it is the first time I have raised money for the Christie Hospital in Manchester. Maybe it's the age we have reached, but we all seem to know lots of people who have been affected by cancer and in the last 12 months 3 people close to Sue and I have been treated at Christies. Outcomes for some are still ongoing but it seems to be an illness that touches every family at some time or other. I am cycling through Vietnam and Cambodia in late November, covering 400km in 6 days; it isnt the hills of the Rockies this time but the heat and humidity that will provide the challenge. I am a sun lover but cycling in it is a completely different matter! It would be much appreciated if you could find some dosh for sponsorship.
Donating through Just Giving is very easy and the money goes directly to Christies. Just so that you are aware all the costs of the trip, travel and expenses are being paid for by me so ALL the money raised will go to the charity.
