We've been through a lot this year and whilst everything is fine now we'll never forget the support of the health professionals who helped us through some very scary weeks. The pain of cycling 100 miles is insignificant compared to the daily mental anguish family members go through when caring for a loved one who has been diagnosed with cancer nor the actual physical pain a patient suffers when fighting this disease. Luckily, we don't need to go back there now, but there are thousands living through some extremely tough times right now and my empathy and unconditional compassion goes out to them. This is me giving a bit back through pedal and wheel. I'll take it out on the road for all concerned - come on!!!
