This started off as a casual question asked by the lady behind the bar at Nirvana (Excellent friendly Gym in Lowestoft that the Family use) "Are you joining in our Children in Need, Wax-A-Thon". Being an offshore bloke and we never say no, i said "Yes, put me down for a leg wax". Once getting to the Fulmar Rig and starting to raise money, the second most common question was "Is that all" (First popular question kept mentioning Back, Sack and Crack, whatever that is!).

So i had a wee think one day. As part of being the dutiful son, i am picking up parents from Stanstead Airport 2 days after the Leg Wax. I happened to notice a Mucky Races Race nearby in the morning. Eight Miles of Mud, Streams, More Mud, Ditches and Tracks in a disused Quarry. The famous "Guts and Glory" run. So that is it then.

A Leg Wax and then a gruelling Muddy ordeal all in the same weekend, that must be worth putting your hand in your pocket!
