Chris, Dave & Eddie's Ride and Shine Cycling Tour

When Claire and I went for our baby's 20 week scan we were told that he had spina bifida and a brain abnormality. Unfortunately it was not possible to continue with our pregnancy and our little boy was born asleep a week later. But there are many different forms of spina bifida and many children can live full and active lives. As a way of remembering him and acknowledging the fanatstic work the SHINE charity does for children who have spina bifida or hydrocephalus, we have decided to cycle some of the famous sporting locations in the East Midlands.
On the 18th of January 2014 Claire's father Dave, our close friend Eddie and myself will begin our challenge at Stadium:MK in Milton Keynes. We will cycle from there to Silverstone circuit, Towcester racecourse, Franklin's Gardens rugby ground in Northampton and finally on to Northampton County Cricket Ground. This is a total of 45 miles and we hope to raise £2000 for the SHINE charity in rememberance of our baby boy.
