Fundraising for Rainbows Hospice for Children and Young People

We (Dave Chatterton, Michelle Rose & Nicki Moss) are running this half marathon for my son Harry, he’s 4 years old and is a FOX G1 child which means he has a rare genetic condition causing severe epilepsy and developmental delays.
It’s been a long journey with Harry so far and we’ve been through some tough times. As he’s got a little older we’ve been very fortunate, he’s a lot more stable, seizures are controlled using a special diet and he’s generally a happy little soul.
We wanted to do something that will raise some money to help provide support for families who are going through similar times to those we went through with young ‘H-bomb’ (affectionate nickname) and bring further support for these children, after all they are the strongest of us.
