Story
Why we need your help.
In 2018 I cycled 1000 miles in Sulawesi to help raise funds for a specific disaster - the horrendous Tsunami and earthquake on the large Indonesian island. I met numerous people who had been affected and people who work supporting them.
On returning to England I met with workers - both volunteers and professionals who work for the Red Cross - supporting victims in diverse situations including in Sulawesi.
I am cycling around the world and have now completed more than 12,000 miles travelling through 20 different countries.
With very generous support I have raised more than £4000 through Just Giving pages and donations made when I give talks about my rides.
In continuing rides I cycled over 1000 from Cairns to Darwin in 'Top-End' Australia in 2019, Covid restricted travel for almost two years after the World 'Opened-up' again I cycled 1350 miles from Santiago de Chile to Buenos Aires in 2022.
All is now planned for perhaps my most challenging ride yet - crossing Atlas and Rif mountains in Morocco to Santander in Northern Spain
I am always prepared to give talks about my rides for a small donation to the Red Cross.
I am determined to use my personal self-funded challenge to raise money to support desperate people who have very little or nothing in UK and abroad - especially now that so many are living in increased suffering and stress caused by the virus and wars.
