We campaign, support and fund research to stop people dying of bowel cancer

Story

Thank you for taking the time to visit our JustGiving page.

We are not exactly your typical, athletic cyclists, but we are taking part as #Ride25 riders, over a number days at various venues, on a static TACX trainer, as part of the VirtualRideForRity alongside Chris Daniel.  Chris will be riding 18000 miles, virtually around the world, in support of Cancer Charities, in what will be a 6 month long World First, and in memory of his wife, Rita, who he sadly lost to Bowel Cancer.

We have both lost friends and relatives to Cancer, including Andrew's father in law Martin, who was also lost to Bowel Cancer. So this is just a way of continuing our support, following past endeavours, to help raise awareness and donations for Cancer charities, with the ultimate aim of making Cancer a thing of the past.

Hopefully, every £1 raised will help us closer to eliminating this disease, making the experiences of Chris, ourselves and our families who have seen loved ones lost to Cancer, a thing of the past.

Many thanks,

Dave & Andrew
