Katharine House provides specialist palliative care for adults with life-limiting conditions across North Oxfordshire and South Northamptonshire. We provide inpatient services, specialist nurses out in the community, a Living Well programme, a specialist hospital team and bereavement support.

Story

Thank you for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page. Jeremy and myself took on the challenge to complete the longest via ferrata in Switzerland. The Daubenhorn peak near Leukerbad tops out at 2941m and follows over 2000 metres of delicate climbing. Technically it's not quite the hardest, but the exposure is overwhelming - it takes the best Alpinists over six hours to complete. It took us eight and a half...We were exhausted...

That drained feeling is totally insignificant compared to that being experienced by many at the KHH... hopefully we can contribute to the amazing team at the hospice in just a small way.
