Story
On the 23rd November I will joining our team at Readypower Rail Services experiencing a night in the cold sleeping rough, we hope to raise awareness and funds that will de donated to the Slough Winter Night Shelter which will be used to help those less fortunate this winter.
The shelter provides breakfast, a warm evening meal and a safe place to sleep every night.
Volunteers work with clients to help find permanent accommodation and employment, a volunteer podiatrist helps to improve foot health and guest are offered new warm coats.
It costs £15 per person, per night to run the shelter.
Even a small donation can have a life-changing impact on a vulnerable person, so any donations will be greatly received and appreciated.
