Story

On Saturday, 8th December, I am walking the 8 mile stretch from Little Venice, over inWest London, along the Regent’s Canal, to Bromley by Bow in East London on the Bromley by Bow Centre lantern walk. Please sponsor me!

We will be battling against wind, rain and possibly snow! We are walking to raise money for the Bromley by Bow Centre which works with children, families and vulnerable adults in one of the poorest parts of England. The centre provides programmes to help over 2,000 people each year to create positive futures for themselves. Your money could:

- provide vital emotional support to a woman and her children facing domestic violence

- fund a young person at risk of dropping out of school to learn new skills in horticulture

- support someone with mental health problems to develop the skills and confidence to find work

- help parents escape from debt and find employment so they can look after their children.

Please give whatever you can, every penny helps.

Donating through this site is simple, fast and totally secure. It is also the most efficient way to sponsor me: The Bromley By Bow Centre will receive your money faster and, if you are a UK taxpayer, an extra 28% in tax will be added to your gift at no cost to you.

So please sponsor me now!

Many thanks for your support.
