Hi All,

Thanks for not only visiting my page but for hopefully making a small donation to go along with it. If you haven't yet - why not!! lol.

I'm sure as most of you are aware Linda, my mother in law, mother to my wonderful wife and Nanny `Sweetie' to my boys closed her eyes for the last time on Thursday 14th December after her long battle with Motor Neurones Disease.

For those that have never come close to MND it truly is a horrible as `they' all say and it has been hard for all close to Linda. Along the way Linda had help from many friends, family, carers, the NHS (yes the NHS!) and the MND association which she greatly appreciated which she showed when she organised her two charity events for the association. As I know this meant a lot to Linda I promised her and was able to tell her that I had been accepted to take on this challenge on behalf of the charity and that I would do it in her name to not only acknowledge her as a fantastic woman, but a fantastic fund raiser also!

So the challenge............969 miles of cycling over 9 days (8th - 16th September 2018) averaging 107 miles per day. I'm sure you all know I like cycling but to date my longest ride is 70 miles with two weeks rest after. So it is going to be a massive, MASSIVE challenge that will need hours and hours of training and all that starts today (2nd January). 

I will admit I'm not a big fan of charity and haven't done anything for charity since a sponsored walk in middle school which was a few years ago (just a few).  However I feel this is so very close to our hearts and well worth the effort and commitment so please, If any of you are feeling generous and would like to provide me with some much needed support and motivation please give a little and sponsor as link provided  - my target as set by MNDA is shown.
