Story

So people who know me know I wear an artificial limb but have never let anything stop me. I like to keep active and I play for the Wolves Foundation disability men’s team. Last year I challenged myself to complete the Yorkshire three peak, which was one of the hardest things I’ve done, but did it!! I’ve purchased a bike this year so I can base my challenges round cycling. I’ve not been on a bike for years, so again its a big challenge for me to do the miles the avid cyclist does. That being said, I’m going to challenge myself in the month of Feb to cycle 250 miles and I’d love your support to do it in aid of the Wolves Foundations recent Feed our Pack initiative. This pandemic has affected us all including my family, but as the boss say’s in the video, 29% of children in Wolverhampton now live in poverty, and I’m 100% behind this campaign to sort that figure out. I have two kids and we find ourselves in a good situation, so its time for me to give back.

250 miles may not seem far for the every day cyclist, but I’m new to the sport plus I have a full time job (and two kids), so time will be against me let alone the miles. Due to the national lockdown rules I also wont be able to go too far out of my local area.

I would really love your support so please donate anything you can towards this amazing campaign, I understand times are tough for everyone, so even if you can spare the cost of a coffee and cake I would very much appreciate it.

Thanks for your continued support

Daz James.
