Cancer is one of those things that seems to strike indiscriminately.  Even if you do everything you can to live a healthy life, there is still a very good chance of being affected.  That has always been something that has scared me.

I lost my Grandmother a couple of years ago with cancer, and so for all these reasons I like to do my bit to help the cause.

I will complete this challenge regardless of the amount I raise, but I realise that I am lucky to be in a healthy position to attempt this and it presents an opportunity to hopefully encourage people to join me in supporting Cancer Research.

My ride starts on 1st July, and over the next 9 days I'll complete a total of 950 miles.
