Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
For the second year running I am delighted to be running on behalf of the Beating Bowel Cancer charity. In addition to the London Marathon I will be tackling the 54 mile Brecon Beacon Trek Fest in June and the 12 mile Tough Mudder in July. My "Trekking" buddy Paul Simpson (pictured) can't wait to join me for the Brecon Beacons Trek Fest (18-24 hours continuous!!) And my "Little" son Ben and his team will lift me over the 20 obstacles that make up the 12 mileTough Mudder!
Since last year our family has been stunned and saddened by the loss of my step mother Celia. She was only diagnosed with bowel cancer at the end of June but sadly died on the 29th August. Nana Celia will be with me every step of the way xx
Fortunately many people get through the experience of Bowel Cancer and the charity helps in so many ways. Early detection and treatment is key, so don't be shy and if in doubt get it checked "Love your bum" Look out for my bum shorts too!
Lots of events to come over the next 7 months so keep looking for the updates. Once again a huge thank you for your support and I'd love to better last year in every way. It didn't really hurt that bad did it??
