Story
So for those of you who know me, I've ran lots of Great North Runs. My first Great North Run was in 1997 and I've managed to run 22 consecutive Great North Runs since.
I was diagnosed with osteoarthritis last year, and although I still managed to complete the 2018 Great North Run I knew I was heading for a hip replacement.
In March 2019, I had my hip replacement and I am ready to compete in my 23rd Great North Run. This year my wife Louise is running with me, it will be her first Great North Run, and we'd like to raise money for Versus Arthritis.
