Story
Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
My daughter,Amber Rose Cliff, died on January 8th,2017 as a result of cervical cancer.Amber bravely fought this for over four years but unfortunately the cancer spread to her lungs and throat and she finally lost her fight at the age of 25.
Amber was constantly denied a smear test on the grounds of being under 25.The government guidelines do not allow testing of girls under that age.We strongly disagree with this law and we have campaigned vigorously since Amber's death to get this law changed to allow testing from 18.
In addition to this,Amber's law charity has funded many girls under 25 to go private for cervical smears. We also have sent cervical cancer sufferers on holidays and pamper days.We also actively run cervical cancer awareness campaigns which,we believe, have saved many lives already.
Myself and my friend Martin Donnelly will be running the Great north run in two weeks time to raise money for this fantastic cause. We would be so grateful of any donation you could make as every penny goes towards the charity and its work. Not one penny is taken out for wages,fuel,etc...unlike a lot of other charities.
Thank you in advance for taking time to read this and also if you donate. We appreciate it ever so much!
Amber's law . THEN.NOW.FOREVER ❤🌹
