Story
During the lockdown I decided that I would like to try and help the UKs largest mental health charity MIND as I think everybody suffered some down times during lockdown so it would be fulfilling to try and help people who suffer all the time with whatever form of mental issues they may have.
I chose MIND because 85p of every pound raised goes to helping people recover, they also use the monies raised very wisely and don’t waste the money on huge salaries or have millions in the bank doing nothing so hopefully it was a wise choice.
My employers Sega Amusements International have very kindly agreed to pick up all the travelling expenses and the hotel bills which I am extremely grateful for and this will enable me to walk the 86 mile length of Hadrian’s wall from Wallsend on the east coast to the finishing point on the West coast in Cumbria.
I hope that you can find the generosity to dig deep and sponsor me no matter how big or small the donation as 1 in 4 adult males suffer with some form of mental illness and it would be great to raise as much money as possible. Although the big donations are very welcome it’s the number of small donations that make the difference so thanks for reading and let’s raise as much money as possible.
The hard work starts now as although the walk officially is 86 miles it’s going to be more like 100 miles after walking to the different overnight stops.
LETS RAISE AS MUCH AS POSSIBLE AND GOES WITHOUT SAYING ALL DONATIONS WILL BE GRATEFULLY RECIEVED ❤️❤️
