Story
I am taking on The Great Somerset Cycle on 24 March 2019.
I’m doing this ride in remembrance of my cousin Tessa Edwards whom sadly passed away March 2018 after a battle with cancer, Tessa was the same age as myself. I’m also doing the ride in remembrance of my mother-in-law Brenda Bees, both of whom spent their final few days in this invaluable, caring and wonderful environment.
St. Margaret's Hospice is an important charity and I am hoping to raise money to help them continue to provide high-quality care to Somerset patients and their families facing a life-limiting illness.
About the ride. This is a hospice to hospice cycle ride and I will be cycling from St. Margaret's Yeovil to St Margaret’s Taunton and back again. Including the ride from and to my house I should be cycling around 85 miles, the furthest I’ve ever cycled !
Any donation, no matter how small could all help towards many other families in their time of need.
Thank you.
Daren.
P.S. if you’d like to laugh at me in Lycra, I’m charging for that privilege.
