We provide specialist nurses to support families affected by dementia

Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

I'm running the Cardiff University/Cardiff Half Marathon on Sunday 1st October.

Dementia is a broad umbrella term used to describe a range of progressive neurological disorders. There are many different types of dementia and some people may present with a combination of types.  Regardless of which type is diagnosed, each person will experience their dementia in their own unique way.

As you may or may not be aware, Sara is an advocate working on behalf of people with mental health and mental capacity issues. She regularly works with people of all ages suffering from dementia and we wanted to raise  money to help the people and families affected by the disease.

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving - they'll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they'll send your money directly to the charity. So it's the most efficient way to donate - saving time and cutting costs for the charity.
