Thanks for visiting my fundraising page.

Admittedly this is rather an eleventh hour effort, but I have finally decided to go ahead with a second marathon bid! My knees have been dodgy the last few months, so both my training and fundraising are way behind schedule - so I now have a real mountain to climb !!

As before, I will be running for the Brain and Spine Foundation in the 2009 London Marathon. My inspiration for running is my Mum, who was diagnosed with a brain tumour in September 2005 and has been bravely battling with this horrible condition ever since. The Brain and Spine Foundation do a lot of good work for people suffering from neurological and spinal illnesses, both in terms of providing support for those directly and indirectly affected and funding research into related conditions.

My goal is to raise at least £2500 in support of the Foundation. Any donation, however small will be very gratefully received and put to good use.
