Story
I run a lot, maybe 5 times a week. But parenthood, health and age have had a massive impact on my ability to fit a decent run into life, meaning I rarely run over 7km and am at a life-time record slow pace. I've only ever run over 20km once in my life and that was at my peak fittest.
To remedy this I'm setting myself a personal challenge to run 20km, not once, but 20 times during 2020, with (hopefully) decreasing times before I hit 40 at the end of the year. All in support of the wonderful Bushy Leaze and their £20k for 2020 campaign. I'm doing all the 20's before my 40s.
As you may know Bushy Leaze provide a lifeline for local families with young children through a combination of outreach work, targeted groups and expert one-to-one support. They helped us through a difficult time around Ada's birth.
Since 2016 they have operated their family support services independently, supported by their own charity whose raise funds to enable these vital services to continue.
