We will do whatever it takes to help you live life as fully as you can

Story

In July 2023, I lost my dear friend Joanne Mahoney following her short but brave battle with gall bladder cancer. Jo was more than a friend, she was a colleague at work… and at times, was like a second Mum.

Macmillan supported Jo and her family throughout her battle.

They also supported my own family through my Mum’s battle with bowel cancer in 2005.

Running just over 26 miles with dodgy knees and half a hamstring is my way of giving back, in hope that we can all continue to do more to beat this terrible, terrible illness.

I hope to see a sea of green, and as many friends and family members as possible on 21st April 2024, as I inevitably break down in tears when I cross that line.

Thank you for your support!
