Story

Big up to Clarissa and BlindAid for getting me a spot on the London Marathon 🫶🏼

BlindAid was established in 1834, and over the last 188 years, they have supported well over two million Londoners. They give people the time they need to come to terms with the loss of their sight and develop the coping strategies they need to thrive. Their services are not time bound, but based on each user’s specific needs. While some service users only need a gentle hand on their journey to independence, others need consistent support.

To repay this favour I am looking to raise as much as possible to support the cause. £1 here, £1 there, £50 from somewhere else... all amounts are welcome.

Let's smash this out the park. See you there, 23rd April 🏅

We offer practical and emotional support to blind and visually impaired Londoners. Join our amazing community Every pound we receive and every action you take helps us reach more people with sight loss. Our Sight Support workers offer emotional and practical support to over 1000 blind and partially sighted people. But the need is much greater: in our community there are still thousands of people who are left alone to deal with the impact of visual impairment. That is why we need your support: to help us reach every single person that is feeling isolated. Each gift we receive will ensure we can offer support, advice and reassurance to people with a visual impairment when they need it most.
