Walk completed; took just over 6 hours. Fantastic weather, should have packed sun cream instead of waterproofs. Conditions underfoot was varied ranging from tarmac to mud; long grass; short grass and gravel.
Big thank you to Michelle for being my driver and to the mystery Yorkshire Man in the pub at the end of the walk for his £5 donation.

36 hours to go. Weather forecast looks changeable. :-(
On the 13th of May this year I will be walking a 28km stretch of the Shropshire Union Canal from Nantwich to Chester in aid of Parkinson's UK.
I am lucky enough not to have any relatives affected by Parkinson’s but I do know a number of people who are; it is for these people I am doing the walk.
In addition to researching Parkinson’s this charity also provides tremendous support, encouragement and information to the army of carers out there.
It is my birthday the day after this challenge and I can not think of any better present than the satisfaction of raising hundreds of pounds for such a worthy cause.
So please dig deep and donate now.
Danny
