Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

Everyone has something/someone I theirs lives that when you never expect it gets dealt a blow, some news that changes their/your life forever.

It's not until you receive the news that you start trying to understand the problem. In my circumstance the problem is leukaemia and like many illnesses/diseases part of the solution is money.

So without going into detail about my personal relation to this problem I ask you to help me become part of the solution and donate whatever you can to help Leukaemia Research.

The Challenge:

As many people know Ive got more involved in running over the last few years. My first run some 3 years ago lasted about 5 minutes and I ran about 400 metres 😣. 3 years later I'm running further than ever in my life but this challenge is taking things to another level.

On the 25th June me and my mate Danny Hughes set off to complete an ultra marathon across the hilly terrain on the South Downs. We set off at 9am and the aim is simple......finish the race as we tackle all 52 miles in one hit.

Training has been under way for last 2 months and my body has had a huge wake up call, so anyone who thinks this is race is a given is massively mistaken. 30 miles is my comfort zone and your donations will help get through the pain and mental barrier of the last 22 miles.

So thank you for taking time out to read my page and please help me help a great cause.

Danny
