Story
Dad and I are the speedy O'Hara's and hope to be active through zoom, or together when we can finally see each other again. Dad's 84 and waiting for 2 knee replacements but will be walking around the Worstead village church for 20 days in April. Luckily dad doesn't live with dementia, but he has lost a very dear friend to it and has attended the Wymondham Dementia Friday group, and seen how wonderful it is for all of its members.
I have been volunteering with the Wymondham Dementia Support Group since 2014. I have seen first hand the wonderful work they do, how needed it is and how being able to come together can sometimes be a lifeline for Carers.
