Two years ago Irene my wife of forty years was diagnosed with Overian Cancer.  Often called the silent killer as it is usually advanced before a diagnosis is made as sadly was the case for Irene. The Royal Marsden is keeping the disease at bay and buying us some time. I also lost my brother, Brian to Lung Cancer this year.  The expertise at The Royal Marsden is second to none and I am happy to support their work by doing this walk.  I promise not to go in the pubs on the way!
