Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit our JustGiving page.

Our Chief Executive, Danny, was understandably disappointed when the Milton Keynes Marathon was cancelled due to the coronavirus. However, undeterred and determined to run, Danny will run his own solo marathon on Sunday 3rd May, to raise funds for Ashford Place!

Ashford Place will continue to operate vital services over the course of the crisis. These include but are not limited to; benefits advice and guidance, telephone befriending to three hundred and thirty people, food parcel services, shop and drops, prescription collection, online arts groups (including creative writing and choral singing for wellbeing), IT tuition, liaising with banks and building societies to ensure clients are able to obtain money whilst banks are closed and also working with food waste charities to obtain supplies for our clients.

We are supported by our project workers, our skilled Ashford Place volunteers and a bank of new volunteers all of whom are known to us.

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving - they'll never sell them on or send unwanted emails.
